Tommy Robinson denies spending over £400,000 in donations from far-right supporters on drugs, luxuries

Mr Robertson alleged his employer said he had “mates I’ve got to pay back” for “seshes”. “We realised that he was withdrawing huge amounts of [donations] in cash from a business bank account, and just giving it to his friends who were selling him coke and who he owed for nights out,” he added.

“That wasn’t what we signed up for when we told our supporters that we needed it for kit, expenses, transport, security and staff costs.”


His concerns were echoed by another former employee who said they were not properly remunerated while working for Robinson, and a third person said payments they were due were delayed for several months.

Mr Robertson claimed that when drunk, Robinson would boast of being “f***ing loaded” and making “mad money”, while making lavish purchases, including a new car and designer clothes.

It's left authoritarianism, which righties love to conflate with the modern flavors of leftyism to act like we all secretly want to go back to the days of Stalin.

Besides that, the Nazis called themselves socialism because socialism was a popular idea in Germany at the time. Much like Bush called it the Patriot Act because patriotism was popular at the time.

The problem with people like Tommy calling the Nazis lefties is the same as the problem of acting like the Democratic Party pre-1960s was anything like today's Democratic Party. You're simply not going to find a modern lefty who supports white supremacy, eugenics, nationalism, banning miscegenation, oppression of homosexuals, etc.

Can anyone ever make a comment in a thread without talking about “teams”?

How about everyone taking the words “left” and “right” out of their vocabulary - and not substituting them either - and seeing how different their vocabulary and debates, would sound?

It’s really rather lazy.
And boring.

Sorry if I bored you, dear, but Tommy is clearly confused and I was only trying to help him.

Everyone has tried to help tommy, Ben. Nice try...but nothing ever changes.

Tommy is probably the only person in the Western World that thinks Hitler and his Nazi party were left wing. That said, they are probably well left of his political beliefs.
