So anyhoos today I had a break from everything, had some crumpets for brekkie (didn't get up in time for bacon dammit), went to mum's Unitarian church where afterwards I snagged some custard creams, then off to the seaside so mum could have some quiet time and had scampi and chips, a VERY bracing walk on the seaside promenade and then to top it off a 99 FLAKE.....tonight is roast pork and the trimmings and then off to the pub for the pub quiz.

Life is good people, celebrate it each and every day. We are all alive, have our loved ones, none of us are in danger, we will never have to watch blankety blank again....party on down.

Ah bless Cass that sounds lovely... I usually find pub quizzes inordinately difficult, but the last time I took part in one (by accident) my friend and I found ourselves in a team with three hardened experts. The prize was a bottle of Merlot we somehow felt it would be remiss to drink from...
