"The Duke of Sussex has cancelled his trip to the Netherlands next week as the world awaits the arrival of Baby Sussex.
The Duke, who had been scheduled to visit Amsterdam and The Hague, will stay in England in the coming days, amid "logistical challenges" surrounding arrangements for the trip.
The decision means that he will be able to stay with his wife the Duchess, who will either be significantly overdue or enjoying her first few days with their newborn baby. "

Her mum and her are very close, she has been with her throughout the final stages of her pregnancy, and thankfully they have been left alone to enjoy some private mother and daughter time.

I think that it can often happens that an absent father can strengthen a mother/daughter relationship.
I know from my own experience this can be the case.

Time wasn't on Meghan's side, reproduction-wise. Sorry to put it so bluntly.
As luck would have it, she conceived quickly anyway, but it could've taken a few years.

The pressure on her was intense, as Harry had stressed how much he wanted a family even before he met her.
Not everyone wants children, but in the royal family and among all aristocrats, producing an heir is the CENTRAL issue in a marriage.

In meghan's case the pressure must've been unbearable - & it came from all directions, right from the minute she picked the confetti out of her hair.

I’m loving the name! My sister and cousin both chose “old fashioned “ names for their 4 boys. I went Celtic with my boys. My granddaughter will be Celtic/Norse.

I’m loving the name! My sister and cousin both chose “old fashioned “ names for their 4 boys. I went Celtic with my boys. My granddaughter will be Celtic/Norse.

I love the old fashioned names that are coming back, no doubt we will see lots of Archies in the next few years.
The witty 'Harrison', no doubt a play on 'Harrys son', tickled me.

I expect so. As well as seeing lots of Jons, Aryas, Sansas after Game of Thrones. Saw a lot of Jax after sons of anarchy over here.
