Best bands of each era
Being currently pretty depressed at the news I thought I might get a bit frivolous and ask - Starting with the 50's and depending on which era you started in which bands did you like, or before that if you wish, personally I quite like a lot of WW2 wartime music.
I think I may have forgotten more than I remember but here's mine, all well known of course. The 60's have the most for me;
Rolling Stones, Who, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Kinks, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Byrds, Hollies, Yardbirds, Dave Clark 5, Small Faces, 10c.c, just a few as there were so many to choose from, what an era that was something for everyone played anytime on the radio and no specialist categories.
70's : Eagles, Aerosmith, Foreigner, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones
80's : Guns n' Roses, Bon Jovi, Queen, Duran Duran, Iron Maiden, Chilli Peppers, The Cure, INXS, Aerosmith.
90's : Kasabian

And I’m sure there’s so many more too.
Vintage- I’m seeing Iron Maiden in September!!!! Massive bucket list achievement. I’ll blow Eddie a kiss from you
Nicko - I had thought of adding them. They were good but not great in my opinion. Same with Slade and some other bands. But yeah I have kind of headbanged to them.
