Sanctuary Cities: we welcome immigrants

Sancuary Sancuary cities are cities which will not cooperate with federal authorities in turning over to ICE agents illegal immigrants.  New YOrk is a sanctuary city, as are San Francisco and Los Angeles.

In retaliation, pussy-grabber Trump wants to retaliate by shipping all sanction-seekers from the border, and dumping them in sanctuary cities.

What a wonderful idea.  We would welcome such guests, particularly as they are peaceful people who would make good citizens.  Most are sanction-seeking families, seeking a better life away from criminals in their home countries.

Forget the unconstitutionality of the move.  We would love to have them.  In fact, I am proposing we set a system of Welcome Centers, to help them.  Such centers could help then with the language, food, housing, connecting the kids with schools, and would provide education in English as well as to provide them with the means to become eventual citizens.

Oh, and um, Hispanics coincidentally vote for Democrats.

You'll also get Drug dealers, Gun crime and other dross !

I don't think so. Contrary to Trump's lies, the people coming to the border are decent mothers and fathers, with children. They seek a better life than the criminal activity going on in their home countries. They are the good guys.

The Sanctuary cities are also the wealthiest and more advanced cities, and we can provide them with services they wouldn't get in the south. Bring 'em on.

It always amases me this poor argument made by the left that never actually seeks to resolve the problems of poverty

People will always be lured to better standards of living and failing to address the poor standards of living in other countries. Will continue and maintain this problem of many people living in abject poverty

So its good that places are welcome, but its only a short term fix, that comes with many other problems. As seen, crime will often increase and the victims are often the very refugees that have sought sanctury in the US

This failed policy, is why you will always have disharmony in the US. The Republican right will play off crime and the left like you Quill will defend the innocent rightly who come for a better life. Yet in both cases, the problems continues to exist and nopthing gets resolved

People moving to places where life is better, does nothing to solve the problem where life is poor for people. It continues to ignore that very problem. And this very cycle continues of people wanting to move away from the poor standard of living they face

Of course trump plays on this xenophobia, because it appeals to the very nature of people fed up with crime. They only see crime and not the plight of people. As they live with higher crime rates

Its why the best way to resolve this problem, is to make the standard of living better for people, in poorer countries. That is what is needed to be tackled and yet hardly ever happens

Very few today. Every population is going to have some bad apples, but with this group, we'll take 'em and the risk.

Trump suffers from self-delusion and much as deception of others. He has a poor opinion of Hispanics, owing to his racism, and seems to be of the opinion that shipping Hispanics to the home cities of the compassionate will be some sort of punishment.
