Potential 2nd Brexit vote... can UK get the right answer this time????
After a week of stunning resignations, betrayal and delays, politicians in the UK are reportedly plotting something once unthinkable: a second Brexit referendum.
According to the Evening Standard, Labour is moving closer to supporting a second vote on Brexit and may back one as soon as this week, senior members of the party told the paper.
Last week British politics was turned on its head when seven MPs staged a dramatic walkout from the Labour Party.
The politicians were furious with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn over his handling of “anti-Semitism” and accused him of a “betrayal” on Brexit.
That bombshell was followed by the dramatic walkout by three conservative politicians from PM Theresa May’s Conservative party, who joined the renegades.
The Tory politicians pointed to the government’s “dismal failure to stand up to the hard line European research Group,” which advocates a no-deal Brexit.
The pro-EU bloc will now sit together as a group but as independent MPs.
If the movement swells, it could lead to a second referendum or force the Labour Party into that position.
Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell has told UK media a second EU referendum is now “increasingly on the agenda” for Labour.
A majority would vote “remain” if a second referendum was held today, the latest YouGov poll has found.

the argument that You have to stick with the Old vote, cast when No one had a clue what you were voting for is stupid. (and not true)
the first Vote Assumed their was a Plan by Leavers, not just A whinging bag of hot air with no substance or transferable reality.
A Vote now would be a real Choice between the real options.with fairytales options removed, like the WTO nonsense.
I've heard it multiple times But No one that says it can explain what they mean in real life. there seem to have no concept that the WTO doesn't mean you can just trade with others on terms you declare

Well said, and though I am doubtful after months/years of this nonsense, I would love this to become a reality (even if we still voted to leave - at least it would be a clear and indisputable result this time).
I've been told by friends and family in England that many who even voted Leave are now so fed up they'd vote to stay anyway
But we'll see, all is pretty unpredictable at the moment.

If we have another vote it would have to be the best of three just to make very sure.
There was absolutely no need for the negotiations to have been like they are, we are leaving the political EU, there is no reason not to still co operate on travel, health, security and everything else, ok we won't get the benefits of actually belonging and legal stuff has to be sorted but for everyone's sake it could, if the will had been there, been a reasonably easy transition, we'll end up trading the same stuff to the same standards . Many people in business and politics have expressed this view.
On the other hand if Cameron had been welcomed with a bit of understanding and respect as the representative of the British people we may not be in this situation. One size does not fit all.

But how does that advantage the EU?
they seem to be giving you what you asked for with nothing in return, there should be at least the exception that you'd have a 5% tariff on UK goods going into the EU while not be able to put a tariff on EU good going into the UK.... that is generally how trade works when there is a disparity in power

Nothing in return ? we are giving them £39 billion for fuck all . If no deal was on the Table they would be shitting themselves ! Those with an interest in the EU are holding us to ransom, the vote was OUT, no deals nothing else, fucking Traitors the lot of them. Wait till the next election , most will be out on their ears. But they wont worry , with the rise they'v given them selves and what they will fiddle before they are kicked out , they will be "sitting pretty" and with the "bungs" from the EU why should they worry ?
