Callous Tweeter is slammed after trying to score party political points by replying to Tory MP’s post about her dead son with comments about austerity

Social media users have reacted with fury after a man responded to a Conservative MP's Twitter tribute to her dead son with comments about austerity.

Tory MP Antoinette Sandbach posted a poignant tribute to her son Sam who died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 2009.

She said: 'My little boy Sam died 10 years ago today #muchloved #alwayswonderwhatcouldhavebeen.'

Fellow MPs such as Stella Creasy, Jess Phillips and Johnny Mercer sent messages of support to the grieving mother, who is the Member of Parliament for Eddisbury, in Chester.

But one user called JohnRobb1231 responded to the tweet by saying: 'Sad but how about sharing a thought on the 120,000 that have died due to Tory austerity & cuts??'

The comment was branded 'disgusting', 'cruel', and 'completely unacceptable' as social media users reacted with outrage.

This is what it has come to, when people are such scum, to do this

this is just par for the course on twitter, the caring sharing left show their true colours there.
They are even worse against those who are also left wing but dare speak out against the dear leader.

not sure it is just facebook, twitter is renowned for doing similar.

It may just be coincidence but in the last 5 or 6 months my followers there have almost reached 3700 at least 5 times and every time they approach seem to get cut down by 60 or 70. I made it over 3700 again the other day and now it is back down to 3695 again. Looking at my tweepsmap report each week it is not mainly people unfollowing, but being suspended or removed entirely. Shadow banning is also a well used tool on facebook when people are not banned but their tweets reach few followers. And of course there was the case of a disgruntled twitter employee who deleted the presidents account.
