Sixteen officers and three civilian staff are under investigation for making racist and homophobic comments after new police station was bugged with secret recording devices
Officers have been caught allegedly making racist and homophobic comments after secret cameras and microphones were installed at a new police station.
Hampshire Police Investigation Centre in Basingstoke was bugged with recording devices to catch out police staff and officers after a complaint was made.
An investigation was launched a year ago after officers and civilian staff were recorded making inappropriate comments.
A total of 21 employees, including 16 officers and three civilian staff are under investigation with five suspended and 11 placed on restricted duties, according to the Sun.

well good for the goose good for the gander.
i don't normally agree with hidden cameras but I'm sure these same cops would have hidden with a speed camera to bust people in the past.

Hi Thor,
Good call.
Now, let's put a fine point on it:
If you choose a profession where scrupulous fairness is absolutely essential, you cannot be seen to be as biased as F.
It's that simple.
