Officers follow up 'significant' lead in Ben Needham Investigation
As the family of Ben Needham prepares to mark, next month, the 25th anniversary of his disappearance , detectives say they are following up "significant" information after an appeal in Greece in May.
Officers from Operation Ben, the team set up with a Home Office grant to find out what happened to the toddler, have been analysing new leads generated from a recent trip to Kos.
Ben's relatives have been coping with their daily agony for nearly a quarter of a century and it will never go until they have an answer, as Mark Witty reports:

Oh I do hope they are not disappointed again.

Small children who are taken are usually dead within a short space of time of going missing.
Sad but true.
I think for every child who is snatched and never found, it must be even worse than children who are taken and found dead.
No one can move on....the family is left in limbo...no goodbyes, no service, no closure. It must be hell on earth for the family.

I really hope it does, but I don't hold out much hope.
