I know all of this. Be careful though if you're not used to such positions. Stretching shouldn't hurt, it should feel good.

Upward Dog looks lonely without Downward Doggy to balance things up...
'Welcome the Sun' is a good morning routine, as it incorporates several stretches into the one exercise..

I think I would as well; I'm not flexible or supple in any way shape fashion or form. If I sit still for too long, I get really stiff, too.
