Abandoned Cats

Why would anyone feel the need or have the total lack of concern to seal cats into cardboard boxes taped shut with vinyl tape so the air was limited and stack them in an alley to die?
There are so many rescue organisations what is in these peoples minds. I despair of some humans, they don't really fit the criteria of intelligent beings for me.

Phew.

I suppose the tape was to stop them escaping prematurely - cats are little houdinis, they can wriggle out of anything.

Maybe the owners can be traced (there can't be that many families with 11 cats!!)

Then prosecuted for cruelty. Cool

I remember when I was a kid, we sometimes heard of locals who would put unwanted kittens in a bag and throw them into the canal.
Horrendous...it seems cruelty to animals from some cretins is always with us.
