Sadly that wouldnt surprise me in the slightest. Some parents are far more interested in impressing strangers online that they are in their own babies and children, thats obvious everytime you walk outside.
But this mother was negligent whether she was online or on the loo....you NEVER leave a 6 month old child unattended in a bath, it's a disaster waiting to happen.

She's trying to say she nipped to the toilet. The baby was six months old FFS. You never, ever leave a kid in the bath. What the fuck was she thinking?

they are looking at a 10 minute time gap,,,,10 minutes
her and her husband have split up and he is looking after their other daughter
it sounds as though she has been incredibly stupid and careless but what devastating consequences
killing your own child through sheer stupidity doesn't bear thinking about
how do you ever come back from something like that.?
the guilt would destroy me i think
i can't help but feel sorry for her

I save not just a little bit of grief for the mother. I think the tsk-tsking of others amounts to nothing compared to the grief she feels inside.
I'm sure she will never forgive herself. She is but a baby herself.

You take your baby out of the bath and put her in a safe place, runs or not.
