It's subjective, but I would consider it a light-weight crime.  I haven't checked, but I'll bet it's a misdemeanor.  Three-month sentence?  Suspended?  £200 fine?

If anyone abuses women in this country, we appoint them to our Supreme Court.  LOL  So, you shouldn't ask an American what is right and what is wrong.

Maybe Trump and his cohorts has hardened you to the real suffering of how this sort of act can have an effect on a woman Quill.
But I like to think in spite of who your 'leader' is, most people who live in a civilised country would realise that acts like this can and do ruin lives.
