Not only did they lie to the public, they spent other people's money illegally.
Who would have thought it?

Vote Leave fined and referred to police by Electoral Commission

Why would I get a red stripe for noting the investigstion of criminality?.
I guess the red striper not only condones the illegality of it, but is also pig shit stupid.

of course once again andy shows shows how the left operate...

and of course one has to ask about the lies we have endured for how many years as to what the E.U is about, not to mention its anti SME atitude. or its intent to make the UK the "dumping ground" of europe.

I don’t know why people think there’s this nice and tidy “one side” to any story or stance or policy.
There’s so much we aren’t told, don’t know and will never know.

Let Brexit happen. See what occurs. The sky ain’t gonna fall down.

Perhaps the independant Electoral Commission, the CPS and the police are all pro remain, ehich is why they are only pressing charges against the leavers.
Or of course, it could be the remainers adhered to the spending limits and didn't break the law.

What charges have been pressed by the Police or CPS?

Vote leave broke electoral rules and the case referred to police. Ledwards

After finding Vote Leave guilty of breaking electoral law this morning, the Electoral Commission are claiming that officials from the Brexit campaign refused to attend interviews. Yet this email from Louise Edwards, the Tory-hating Electoral Commission boss, to lawyers for the Vote Leave officials says otherwise:

Eh? Which is it? And how on earth can they reasonably find an organisation guilty of breaking the law without hearing their side of the story? Justice – Electoral Commission style…

This was Louise Edwards excuse to Vote Leave boss Dominic Cummings for failing to speak to him, emailed yesterday. Essentially, she is arguing the Electoral Commission only made claims about Vote Leave as a whole so don’t need to speak to the key players involved. Which does not seem to be justice in any sense. Real possibility the Commission could be sued here…

I don't understand why either side think that the average Brit isn't capable of making their own minds up or do their own research or already have an opinion on the EU, by experience. Do they really think people were actually swayed by the rubbish expressed by the Remainers (possible ww3 etc.) or the exaggeration by the Leavers. What about the ridiculous amount of tax payers money spent by the then government on the issue, something like 9 million on a pro EU leaflet.

Agreed!  I think that every time one of these crime stories come up.

People are too quick to judge and can't wait until someone is tried and convicted before condemning him or her.  All they want to do is go straight to the gallows.
