Suggested names for the Royal baby
First topic message reminder :
Born today at some point. Name suggestions.
I’m going for Mohammed or Adolf. Be nice to bring some different flavours to the Royals.
If not then I reckon Keith or Kanye. Just for the class.

Re: Suggested names for the Royal baby
That's the Queen's father real name, he changed it to George when he became King. I reckon Philip and Charles could be in there too.
Don't like name Albert but Albie is good.

You see, now i will play the whole sketch and not the edited part, showing how clueless Eddie really is
As its actually called the "No Juice sketch"
And its about his own kid first learning words and always saying "no" and "cars". As his only words. Michael then teaches him the word juice. Of cause the baby cannot sound the word juice, but sounds the word Jews.
Eddie, in her stupid wisdom, used an edited version, without any content. Hence most hearing the edited part, would not find it funny at all..
Clearly with the child always going "no" and now the new word "Jews". He is then constantly saying no Jews. Hence michael then referring to his own baby, as baby Adolf, with then a view its all happenning again
Very funny, when you hear the whole sketch and at no pooint did he say we should call kids baby adolfs. He joked that his own kid being adolf, based on the embarressment of the child not being able to say no juice, but no jews
Trust Eddie to fuck up even what she meant and even then it had nothing to do with naming a new born child adolf

er,,,didge
why on earth did you think we all needed some kind of long winded explanation on it?
was evident from the clip eddie showed.
Because you are a very poor liar Gelinocchio
You claimed that is explanitory from the clip Eddie posted?
Seriously, wash your mouth out love lol
She screwed up and even failed to see the Joke had nothing to do with her claim

eddie wrote:You know you’re such a dumbass sometimes, didge, and there goes another thread that you made into something it wasn’t, giving it “hidden meanings” that aren’t there, giving the authors of posts ulterior motives that really aren’t there when one makes a joke.
Look back over the years dumbass. I’ve never been a royalist or a humble patriot of England. Use your common sense and see the fucking joke, see the subtleties of humour.
Or don’t.
I am going to show you why I am glad I have spoilt this thread for you
And its very simple
I gave two reasons why such idiots would create such a thread, one was you and ben being pissed at the Brits, or people being bitter and envious. Your answer above shows it is the latter
It does not matter whether you are a patriot or a Royalist
What has happened is a new baby has been born and is cause to celebrate for any family
You have taken the oppourtinity, as well as others to deride that, by taking the piss with stupid names for the baby. Which as i stated, you would never do with any other family. Nor have I seen you do with any other celebrity family.
The reality is a new born baby is innocent and if you are not a fan of the Royals, that is fine, take it out on the parents, not the ffact they have had a new born, as that is simple bitter.
Hence this thread was nothing more than childish and pathetic. As who gets a kick out of taking the mick out of something which should be taken as a celebration. The birth of new life.
Just as we all celbrated with Ben and you deciding to marry. Where if then some idiot started a new thread on who should be the best man and brides maid. Coming out with dumb names like Hitler, Ilse Koch. For example, basically mocking and insulting you and Ben. I would act exactly the same, in defending against such a dumb thread. There is also numereous threads where you and Ben make continued silly points, withch have little to do with the thread, but I do not moan and niether does anyone else. You both want to take the mick out of each other, , then enjoy.
There is no humour to this thread, its just simple minded people taking a cheap shot at people, who cannot respond to your replies. When they have a new baby in their lives
So I am utterly glad I ruined this thread, maybe you will stop being so childish, in starting such crap next time. As you would never have done with the birth of any of your friends babies.
Not once have either of you explain either how you think Adolf, is funny, for a new born baby?
The reason is, you cant, and its not funny, its meant to mock.

It's a child's and man's name so better than some of the names banded about Gel. I hate Albert so glad he didn't get lumbered with that.

Re: Suggested names for the Royal baby
The name may be important to the Royal family, protocol and tradition and all that, but whether or not the prince will be loved/liked or indifferent to the public will obviously depend on him as he grows up.
Henry was no longer a popular name in this country....till Harry arrived.

I love some of the old fashioned names (shortened version) like, Alfie, Archie, Reggie, Lenny, Harry and the like (not for a royal but just in general) but Albert just sounds like the faint waft of stale piss, a pair of slippers and a pipe. Even Albie doesn't sound right to me

Jeese, still the Germans get in there, don't they? Phillip's mother was Princess Alice of Battenberg, a great granddaughter of Queen Victoria. An anglicized name, Mountbatten, was invented for Phillip and family during WWII, to avoid the Germanic overtones of his real Germanic-Danish name (Wilhelm).
Battenberg no longer exists. Only ever having a population of about 6,000, it existed along the River Eder, to the west of its drain into the River Weser. It lies in the Ederbergland, or Eder Highland, to which the Burgwald abutting the town to the east also belongs, on the southern edge of the Sauerland and the Rothaargebirge. Today, it has been incorporated into the greater district of Waldeck-Frankenberg.
