Obviously schoolkids have to be listened to and cases investigated if they accuse a teacher of misconduct, but it seems in this case the teacher was treated very badly.
If he wasn't even in school at the time, and the offences were said to have happened on school premises, how could he be punished for something he didn't do when he wasn't even there?
He was eventually cleared, so how can social services ban him from being alone with his own son, and why would they take his adopted child away permanently?
Something is wrong here.

Poor man, why is the adopted child taken away if he's innocent.

Unless the state/government authorities responsible for these unwarranted and baseless attacks on an innocent man have been given some kind of unfair and undemocratic indemnity over their wrongdoings :
* false accusations;
* loss of a years employment;
* police harrassment, (slander, libel ?);
* removal/loss of the adopted child..
You would think that he should be eligible to pursue those authorities for a sizable compensation payout (+ punitive damages against them) ???
Also : why are British police able to arrest, detain, question and harass innocent people without having charged them ? In Australia, NZ, Canada or the USA the police would have to have charged someone within 3 days -- but these stories out of the UK have this kind of police harassment continuing for 12 months or more -- that kind of police action is more reminiscent of what goes on in China, Kuwait, Iran or Saudi Arabia, rather than a purported "Western democracy" !
