The field for the 2018 NCAA Tournament is set. So is the bracket, and it is below in full.
The big news, though? On the bubble. UCLA, St. Bonaventure, Arizona State and Syracuse were the last four in, with Oklahoma and Texas also making it.
Baylor, Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s and USC, on the other hand, were the first four out. Notre Dame was the last team eliminated by Davidson’s win over Rhode Island in the Atlantic 10 final on Sunday. Louisville, Oklahoma State, Middle Tennessee and Marquette also missed out.

Virginia, Villanova, Kansas and Xavier received the four No. 1 seeds.
Here is the full bracket, with the Final Four pitting the winner of the South vs. the winner of the Midwest, and the winner of the East vs. the winner of the Midwest:

Both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were bubble teams heading into Selection Sunday.
The biggest surprise inclusion in the field was Syracuse, which was confirmed as the last team in. Most bubble projections had the Orange out, and not even among the first four out.
USC was the biggest snub. The Trojans got to the final of the Pac-12 tournament, but were left out, while conference foes UCLA and Arizona State made it.
Arizona takes it all. Just need to get past Virginia. Great defense!

Nah, betting isn't one of my addictions.
But the University of Arizona was in, and I used to teach there. Arizona is traditionally a top-5 team, but this year they got bounced in the first round.
I like the plucky Chicago-Loyola team. But at final-four time the big, pushy teams take over. I would guess that Kansas will take it. With guards Svi Mykhailiuk and Malik Newman, Kansas has got to be favored.
