Lessons to be Learned Empty Lessons to be Learned

Post by Guest Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:41 am

Am I the only one who's bloody sick and tired of hearing these two catchphrases, "Difficult Decisions" and "Lessons to be Learned" spouted over and over again after politicians have cocked something up, or social workers have failed vulnerable people?  Just when are they going to learn these lessons?  What will it take?  Some wally's on Sky now trying to excuse Chris Smith ffs! and guess what he said?  "Lessons have to be learned".

edit: the wally was Hilary Benn, he went on to slag off Nigel Farrage for suggestin that some of our £11 bllion foreign aid should be used to help our own flood-stricken people. Obviously as they're local they don't matter in his book.

No, you're not alone, Tess. Both phrases, and particularly "lessons must be learned", are utterly meaningless in the real world.

Good afternoon Tess.

The problem that our friends in Somerset have is that a large number if not most of them are white. Therefore,in the governments eyes they don't qualify for Aid.

Now if an area like Brixton or Southall had been flooded then millions would be given in aid to help them.

It's called straight forward anti white racism.
