Report: Kushner Got Emails About WikiLeaks, Russia in 2016 Empty Report: Kushner Got Emails About WikiLeaks, Russia in 2016

Jared Kushner received emails last year about WikiLeaks and a “Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite” and failed to turn them over to the investigating Senate Judiciary Committee, Politico reported Thursday. Kushner reportedly received the emails last September and forwarded them to another campaign official. Senate Judiciary Committee leaders sent Kushner a letter regarding the missing documents, writing that other witnesses have turned over emails from Kushner that he himself had not produced. The committee also said it received communications with U.S.- Russian businessman Sergei Millian, which were copied to Kushner, from other witness, but not from Kushner himself. “If, as you suggest, Mr. Kushner was unaware of, for example, any attempts at Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, then presumably there would be few communications concerning many of the persons identified,” the lawmakers wrote. “Other parties have produced September 2016 email communications to Mr. Kushner concerning WikiLeaks, which Mr. Kushner then forwarded to another campaign official. Such documents should have been produced... but were not.”
