What annoyed you today?

Just to even up the balance of 'what made you happy today'.

I will share....
1.... Woke up a couple of days ago with a bloody horrible water infection....self medication isn't working,

2.....came back to car parked in car park and some AH has scraped and dented my car quite badly.

3...the days not over yet.

The little things that annoyed me today...


Bad drivers particularly annoyed me... seemed to be loads of them around everywhere I was going...


Getting 'bibbed' at while walking across a fairly quiet 'high street' in Sidcup annoyed me, as I was only a couple of metres off the black/white stripes of the 'zebra crossing' that was there, and was only crossing outside of it because there initially wasn't any traffic coming when I started to cross...


Being in Plumstead today was most annoying for a number of reasons...


Having to keep topping up my car radiator with water every 20 miles cos of a tiny leak of unknown source has been annoying today, as I've been off work and had loads of things to do in various places...


Got stuck outside home twice with a neighbour who just keeps on talking, on and on, about a load of old bollocks, and where they keep you there for ages and unable to get away... at one point he said 'I won't keep you cos I know you've got to go'... BUT HE THEN CARRIED ON WITH ANOTHER 10 MINS OF WAFFLE THAT MADE ME LATE!!!


Apart from that... all good!!!

Tommy, we had one the very same in Wales. We would arrive after a long drive, before we had the chance to unpack bits and bobs he would be over ...going on and on, he was one of those that never paused for breath, and never ever listened to anyone but his own voice.
Thankfully he emigrated to Australia a year ago.

Someone making my life difficult over money. That's what annoyed me. In fact, I started shouting on the phone in the middle of Tesco.

Today: Nothing. Yet.

Money and sex...probably the two most argued subjects.....not in our house though, OH knows where he stands.

Nothings annoyed me today yet, but I haven't been out.

I rarely argue over money - I have to be honest I treat money like an irrelevance and also I don't take it too seriously.

I'm about to go to Tesco again (forgot stuff yesterday due to being irritated by aforementioned phone call) so I'll probably get annoyed by some old ladies who think it's a great idea to huddle and chatter in the middle of the fresh pasta aisle.

Oh and I might add that if I ever have to deal with tech stuff - that irritates the absolute tits off me.
I usually speak to Ben about that stuff and he is really quite patient until he gets bored of it all due to my stupidity so....

He may well add to this thread later cos I need to speak to him about this small notepad thing he gave me.

This didn't so much annoy me as upset me.
We were having a bite to eat....What seemed to be a family... an elderly man and his wife, and their son with his wife sat at the next table.
The elderly lady seemed to have dementia of some sort, the way she walked and just sat there, the expression on her face, sometimes its obvious.
None of the other three family members spoke to her once, they chatted amongst themselves and didn't include her in any was in the conversation.

It was so sad to see.

Some people are so thoughtless.
This lady was really smart, they obviously cared enough to take her out...why oh why didn't they make the experience nicer for her by including her in their conversation....even to smile and ask was she OK, was her drink good,...anything.

Driving to my mums this morning stuck behind someone doing 15 mph - bores the socks off me . Then when the pillock turned off another one decided to drive at snail pace .

I worked with dementia residents for 18 months, syl and it is sad but more so for some of the family members. you can see there sadness when they visit whereas the patient is mostly oblivious.

i had some amazing dementia training while i was there which i think should be compulsory when working with dementia.

those who have worked with dementia patients for years said to me

''they wont remember your name, nor the last time they saw you, but they'll always remember how you make them feel''

i was so protective of my residents,,,,,,despite being a secure unit, on ocasion a visitor may leave the door open by mistake, or on the odd occasion they've managed to sneak in the lift without anyone seeing,,,,we had a couple of breakouts while i was there, lolol,,,,,had to go steaming off to get them back again
