Fiance steals grooms stag night money and does a runner.
He is well rid...what a horrible thing to do.
"A bride-to-be who jilted her fiance and allegedly fled with £11,000 of his stag do party cash is said to be hiding in a caravan park.
Sources claim Rachel Doran pocketed money that had been set aside for Chris Mahone and 30 pals to enjoy a four-day booze-up in Ibiza.
Rachel, 29, is accused of handing over bogus boarding cards to the group at Leeds airport before vanishing.
When Chris, 27, and his friends tried to check in with Jet 2 Airways they were turned away.
There was still no sign of Rachel late last night."

Chris Mahone, the jilted groom of the woman who nicked his £11,000 stag do money and disappeared leaving him and his friends stranded with fake boarding passes at the airport, has vowed to report her to the police....good for him.
As is so often the case, Twitter and Facebook have taken up the story, its front page news on some of the tabloids (well this is modern Britain) and the shamed woman is hiding out in some caravan allegedly disowned by her own family.
I wonder if £11,000 seems such a prize now?
"A heartbroken groom left stranded at an airport after his fiancee vanished with his £11,000 stag do fund yesterday vowed: “I’ll shop her to police.”
Chris Mahone, 27, hit out as it emerged his wife-to-be Rachel Doran was hiding away in a caravan park.
She left Chris humiliated when it emerged she had faked plane tickets and accommodation bookings for his trip to Ibiza – leaving him and his 29 pals £11,000 out of pocket.
Yesterday, he told how he was preparing to get police involved"

I know he feels terrible now but in time he will come to view it as a lucky escape.

Re: Fiance steals grooms stag night money and does a runner.
Years ago I heard a similar story off a friend of a friend.
The happy couple were just married and holding the wedding reception at a big fancy hotel.
It was the days of cash, and the father in law had the money for the balance for the venue hire, drinks, food, tips, etc in his suit jacket pocket.
The bride and groom left early to catch a flight for their honeymoon, a treat from the in laws...everyone gave them a big send off, it was all caught on camcorder .
When it was time to settle the bill at the end of the night, the FIL was horrified to find that his jacket, which he had left over the back of the chair whilst he was dancing, had empty pockets, all the money had been nicked.
This was a mystery, till all the video film was watched later, and without knowing, guess who had been caught on camera slyly taking the money out of the jacket pocket??
The groom was still on honeymoon with his unsuspecting wife....and he had a big surprise waiting for him when he returned back home.

What would possess someone to do that?!

Re: Fiance steals grooms stag night money and does a runner.
I don't know...but the marriage was over before it began.
The woman in the OP...she is trying to say she did this for revenge because he had been unfaithful, seems she has made this up though to try to justify what she has done.
She has obviously planned it, printing out false boarding passes and accommodation tickets for the hotel.
It must be a horrible shock to find out the person you planned to marry is dishonest, vindictive and can stoop so low.

That is so nasty. Just nasty. He must've felt like a complete idiot and also really heartbroken. I hope she gets punished.

£11,000 is less than $20,000...
She is certainly selling herself cheap..
Betrayed her fiance;
Destroyed her own life;
Her family's disowned her;
Will have lost any real friends she had.
And likely to do some jail time, if and when she ever surfaces..
What's the bet she either shoots it up her arm or gambles it away before the end of the year ???

Re: Fiance steals grooms stag night money and does a runner.
I think, like Miffs said, he is one lucky man to find out what she is capable of before the wedding.
Once married with a couple of kids in tow, he would be forever bound to her, this way he can make a clean break and find someone less nasty and manipulative.

Way to go...............
She didn't even have the wits to flee to somewhere warm and sunny with half-price drugs ???
Like Bali, or Rio, or Noosa, or Blackpool...

She saved money for him. He would have paid four times as much in the divorce...and that would have been legal.
She's a bit chunky. All she would have been good for is heat in the winter, shade in the summer.

Yep -- too true, that...
He, along with his friends and her family, can all consider this a relatively "cheap" lesson..
She could potentially have cost them all a lot more in the long run.

Would it be shallow to say she has a face like a pig??
Some of the remarks on social media have been a lot less complimentary, saying the lad is well rid, she was punching above her weight landing him in the first place....and he has even had a proposal of marriage from one girl.
Seems the thieving ex bride to be has opened up lots of future possibilities for this lad.

She is also on bail for a previous scam.
"The arrest comes after it emerged Doran was previously held over claims she copied a hotel guest's credit card before going on a spending spree.
She was arrested last month following reports a credit card belonging to a guest at the hotel where she worked had been cloned."

Haha...I was more bothered about the trailing wires across the carpet, I hate leads and plugs showing, surely they could do something about them.eddie wrote:Am I the only one who really hates that green rug in the OP pic?

What a rotten thing to do, she's a nasty cow, he's better off without her.
He's too nice looking for her, had to be said.

She probably picked his tie to co-ordinate with her dress and toe nails.
I bet she was a real control freak.
