Joggers can be a bit aggressive sometimes. If they're timing themselves, they want everyone to get out of their way.

It's awful the way he just carried on, and apparently he came back the same way later!

Runners sometimes shout rather rudely if they want you to get out of the way, and they often don't wait for the green man at traffic lights. They need to calm down.

Which others? There was one other woman and one bloke who were walking on the raised bits, and she wasn't, although she did step to the side to avoid him.

There's got to have been others...unless it was a 'joggers-only' walkway. Do they have such things? I didn't see a sign saying 'runners only'.

I would imagine that's the last time he runs along that route, once he's seen himself on telly. He could be busted anytime.

I just saw this on the news...he deliberately pushed her, it was a miracle she wasn't killed....maniac.

And the one man that we do see is walking on the raised walkway. Hence my question whether it is a 'runners-only' lane.

We have designated paths for cyclists but I have never seen one for joggers only.

Thanks to the bus driver she wasn't killed...had he veered over a bit more there could have been a multiple pile up all caused by the idiot jogger.

There is a clearer photo of him taken from a different angle in the paper today....and this incident happened back in May.
He jogged back along that route 15 minutes later, the woman he almost killed had been helped by passengers who got off the bus, she tried to speak to him, but he ignored her and jogged away.

Someone will know who he is, now its been publicised I hope they find him soon.
I know if I knew him, be it a son, partner, friend or father I would want the police to interview him.

He could argue that he was looking to his left and didnt see the woman until last second... but you can see it was deliberate because otherwise he would have stopped to help her up and to apologise etc...

She is lucky not to have been run over by the bus...

I agree with you. Its obvious he deliberately pushed her...it was obvious he knew he had pushed her, and had it been just a dangerous clumsy movement on his part he would have stopped ...he also would have stopped on the way back, when it must have been obvious that the woman was still in the same place on the pavement with people milling around who had gone to her aid.

It annoys me that no one apprehended him, or at least followed him....sometimes the general public are wimps.

Nothing like a little publicity to lite a fire under the police. Does the victim say if she knows the man? She might have missed him at the point of the push, but could she recognize him when he returned?

The guy arrested was a 41-year old American stock broker. But he's got an alibi...he was in the US at the time of the incident.

Amazingly police have still not traced the jogger who seemed to deliberately push the unsuspecting woman into the path of a bus, this happened in May.
They have released another picture of him....someone, somewhere must know who he is.
