Meanwhile, the NHS turns down many highly trained foreign nurses, who are being forced to make ends meet in the UK as waitresses, nannies and classroom assistants.

Why are they here if they can't get jobs as nurses? Does Australia bar British nurses from practising? They have a points system don't they?

I hold my hat off to them, as they are a rare breed, as they actually have chosen a vocation, one that is born to care and look after others.
They saw us in need after a disaster and wanted to help.
What does that say about the compassion of people?

Some of our nurses go to Aus and yet they came here. Hence why each and everyone of them is worth amillion bucks in my eyes. As they were never drawn here by money.
