Yes, they're both daft - in a good way. Roy was too serious for Cathy really. I liked Brian and Julie too, but she's gone off anyway.

The Hayley story got a bit OTT though. After all, she did make him sit there and help her to die against his wishes.  Poor Cathy felt that she had to keep on apologising for upsetting him - like when she went paddling at Blackpool. He was lucky to meet her, but he didn't appreciate her.
