A report I heard on Sky showed footage of other demo's and she was picked out on several as being with the UAF shouting nd throwing objects at the EDL and the police. She is a well known political activist. She was escorted away because she was being objectionable. I do not support the EDL, I think most are a bunch of thugs, but there is another side to this woman and people should know this !

She played the victim and the press fell for it - like you say there is another side to this sneak .

The EDL demonstration went peacefully so it was this woman that was out to cause trouble .

No I didn't I said she was escorted away because she was disrupting the minute silence in honour of the Westminster bridge victims .

She comes across in interviews as well spoken and intelligent. Her version of that confrontation is she saw another Asian woman in a scarf being bullied and pushed around a bit, she went over to support her.

I don't know the truth of it, but the fact that she is pretty and feisty, and the EDL marchers are often seen as being a bit thick and bullying, certainly does her no harm.

That doesn't mean she is honest. She said the EDL members were pointing at her because she was a muslem , so how could they have known this if she had no head scarf , she must have been wearing a sign with this information on it.

i don't believe she is all innocent I think she went out to provoke and as usual the media have selected what to tell us .

It's not very kind to say people are thick , they have every right to their opinions and have every right even if they are less educated . Maybe they are just so sick of the country putting a certain religion before them and others and the only way they can express this is the way they behave . It's my understanding that the demonstration was peaceful and without any trouble so they're was nothing for her to be offended about .

you're looking at the wrong picture - the one I posted was where the police are escorting her away , she is still smiling but she was still being escorted away .

Not sure whether a "messy up-do" has any bearing on her calmness or feistiness or even the price of sausages, it simply means she probably never washed or combed her hair....and so what?

Perhaps she started off peacefully and saw some stuff going on around her? It's one picture at one event that doesn't tell me very much at all.

It was a fashion statement. I don't think it reflects on her hygiene any more than a grunge look which is also another fashion statement. Messy updo's and grunge are stricly for the very young, they would not look right on anyone over 30.

Look closely at the picture hand shandy... I'm sure you know how to zoom in to get close up views of areas of interest of pictures...!?

Another obvious tell tale giveaway is that if you look at the shadows of people in background of the right hand side of pic... around the top and middle areas... the shadows are cast quite long and to the bottom right direction... plus if you look at other general shadow lines on other various points in image then you see a similar trend towards the bottom right for all shadows... suggesting that the sun's position would be coming from somewhere to the top left direction in image... late afternoonish... and fairly low in the sky...

Now... given the shadow angles... and therefore being fairly conclusive to position of sun... and in the image, we see how it shows how close the woman and copper and EDL bloke are standing... IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR EDL MAN TO HAVE THAT MUCH SUNLIGHT ON THE FRONT OF THE CHEST AND BELLY AREA OF HIS T-SHIRT!!!

As these areas would be in the shadows of the woman and copper!!!

And then add in the fact that the pic is all jumbled between womans forehead/nose and coppers head/ear area...

Plus if you look closely at other areas you will find a number of other questionable anomalies too!!!

It is said that... 'a picture can tell a thousand words'...!

But sometimes... the pictures are fake... and the words are lies...!!!

If there are no genuine pictures or film footage of the alleged incident as it is claimed happened...

There is video of a group of spectators, this girl was amongst them. One edl member rushed over and kicked a man, another smacked a spectator, , he was led away by police, presumably arrested. Ian Crossland was shouting abuse at the group where the girl was stood.

There is also video of the girl being escorted away from the crowd by police, she is smiling, she said the police escorted her away for her own protection.

They don't come across as thick because they are less educated vod, I'm sure many are well educated, but some of them speak like yobs and can hardly string a coherent sentence together.
Maybe the press choose to interview the particularly stupid ones to deliberately show them in that light, but that's often how edl members are portrayed.

I have watched a few vids of the Birmingham March, the girl is in the crowd . A couple of edl members snook up and kicked and punched a couple ofmen she was standing next to, one was led away by police.
The pic you posted earlier in the thread was of her being led away on that day, nothing to do with her disrupting the silence in respect for the dead on Westminster Bridge.
I believe that was a lie spread by some edl members.

I don't know if that girl has a habit of showing up at marches to cause trouble, I have looked but can't find any proof that she does.

I'm not a fan of the EDL... but I am against lies and spin, and I am against the way the police always allow groups of left wing thugs to assemble along the route of, and to violently disrupt every single one of the EDLs legally organised and intentionally peaceful marches...!

And it is the duty of the police to prevent other groups from assembling near to planned and legal authorised protests and routes, for safety and security reasons...

Fabrication.

The UAF, have every right to counter protest legally.

Article 11 is a qualified right and as such the right to protest and the freedom of association may be limited so long as the limitation:

is prescribed by law;
is necessary and proportionate; and
pursues a legitimate aim, namely:
- the interests of national security or public safety;
- the prevention of disorder or crime;
- the protection of health or morals; or
- the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

The requirement to give notice of plans to stage an assembly in advance will not necessarily breach the right to protest as long as notification doesn’t become a hidden obstacle to exercising freedom of assembly.

It seems Tommy is against Freedom of expression, by arguing against the right to counter protest a march.

Now if the UAF kick off, then the EDL should not retaliate, except, they constantly start and do retaliate. The right to protest is enshrined in UK laws around Freedom of expression.
