France mosque attack: Soldiers open fire on car 'attempting to ram mosque'

Several people have been injured after French soldiers fired on a car which attempted to ram them outside a mosque.
The driver of the car did not stop when ordered, Le Parisien reports, leading the soldiers guarding the mosque in Valence, Drome, to open fire.
The driver and another person in the car were injured.
Three soldiers were reportedly injured, there also appear to be injuries among worshippers at the mosque.
A stray bullet hit one a 72-year-old worshipper, the mosque confirmed.
The driver has been detained - his motives are currently unclear.
A local journalist for the Dauphiné Libéré newspaper claimed the man is aged 30 and is originally from Lyon.

You do realise that it is very possible that the objective was to target the soldiers being as all 3 were injured? As much as it could be that the Mosque could have been targeted or there is simple another reason.
It would also be wrong to hit the Mosque, as all people, that is all people should be able to go about their daily lives free from risk.

Police say the man drove twice at the soldiers. They shot him when he reversed his car and came at them again after the first attempt, AFP reports.
The driver is said to be 29 years old and from Lyon, an hour away from Valence.
A stray bullet hit an elderly bystander in the calf.

I mean its still possible that it could be the far right, but based on the above information I reckon 90 percent Muslim.
Comes from Lyon, has a 10 percent Muslim population. See troops outside the Mosque no doubt not seen where he is and believes the soldiers are there preventing Muslims gaining access to the Mosque. From the views and eyes of a man driving, see soldiers outside a Mosque and this would seem more to fit at targeting the soldiers only. If it was far right, they would have looked to have hit as many Muslims as possible.
