"Russian Whistleblowers Are Dropping Dead And Why You Should Care"

A Russian whistleblower sets the stage to explain what befell our country, Rachel Maddow deserves a Pulitzer for this coverage.

There is still far too much information not known to the American people, not yet made public or simply highly classified, to know this for a fact, but the evidence seems overwhelming. Maddow introduces us to the face of bravery against corruption in the form of a video made public by a Russian, Alexei Navalny. That video, exposing Russian corruption, sets the stage to understand that what befell our country is, absolutely, connected to that video — and you, as an American citizen — in pervasive and clearly visible ways.
“Visible” only because of whistleblowers, and the media, who bring that information to light, often at the cost of their own safety. Sometimes, as is now near commonplace in Putin’s Russia, their very life.

Understanding the Russian corruption may not seem very important, Americans are pretty famous for really not really caring about anything foreign that isn’t hot or hilarious. In this case, this corruption directly connects to what befell our country in the last election.

And that directly connects it to you. Because you, as an American are directly affected by the President that we have.
