Woman charged with killing Kim Jong Un's half-brother thought it was a prank video

The Vietnamese woman arrested as a suspect in killing the half-brother of North Korea's leader thought she was taking part in a prank video, Vietnam's foreign ministry said on Saturday.

Hanoi had not previously confirmed that Doan Thi Huong was Vietnamese, saying only that it was in touch with authorities in Malaysia, where Kim Jong Nam was murdered on Feb. 13. Vietnamese embassy officials met her on Saturday.

"Her health is stable. During the meeting with embassy officials, Doan Thi Huong said she was being taken advantage of and thought she was starring in a comedy video," the foreign ministry statement said.

Indonesian embassy officials met the other suspect, Siti Aishah, and she also told them she had thought she was part of a reality television show.

The estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was killed at Kuala Lumpur international airport using VX nerve agent, Malaysian police say.

No I don't either. She's just trying to make up a defence for herself, it wont wash though.

They are either thick or trying to get away with it with that story .

I do believe her or think it is possible and if true and ingenious plan on the part of NK operatives.

One was filmed in Melbourne and they had obviously just gotten random buskers and stuff and convinced them to be 'gatekeepers' in this weird game show with Korean contestants running around a foreign city looking for clues and 'elemental keys' .... it was actually a pretty good show, although half the time cant work out what the fuck is going on. and the busker that sung the K-pop tune which he obviously had never heard clearly had no clue what was going on besides if someone handed him the 'scroll' he played the tune. which was apparently famous and the name of the song was a clue to one of the key locations. he obviously didn't speak Korean either and the contestants had limited English. a Bit like the 'great race' American reality game show but combined with a crazy Japanese game show.

Ehhhh....not.
