This is a video showing the moment one unfortunate gym-goer saw her leg almost snap in half while working out.

In the horrifying footage, the woman is initially filmed smiling as she tests out one of the leg press machines.

However, when the woman goes for a second repetition, disaster strikes.

How does that happen? Only time I've ever heard of this kind of injury is with athletes who use steroids.

If you look, she straightened her leg out just at the press was coming back. She didn't have time to bend her knee upwards, so it bent it the wrong way, I would image that was a very serious injury. Breaking a joint is always much worse than breaking a bone further down.
