Man Stabbed Brother Because He 'Just Felt Like Killing'
A Phoenix man accused of murdering his 12-year-old half-brother to death allegedly told police, "Honestly, I just felt like killing," when questioned about the incident.
Andrew Ward, 27, is charged with first-degree murder and child abuse in the death of Austin Tapia, AZ Family reports. The 6th grader was playing video games at home on Wednesday evening when police say Ward stabbed him to death. Tapia's mother and two sisters had stepped out to get dinner, according to KPHO. Tapia had said he didn't want to go, and so was left home alone.
The mother told police that while they were leaving, they saw Ward walking in the direction of the home.
