iPad help please
So my battery died last night and I left it on charge until this afternoon (roughly 8 hours) and when I switched it on it was only on 40%??
Not cool.
Is it my battery or my plug or my lead that's buggered?
Any help appreciated.

Why don't you use your 'genius' and work it out for yourself...?

Re: iPad help please
A logical way of checking which is the problem would be to check the easiest and cheapest first...
Plug something else into the socket... if it works then socket is ok...
Try using a different lead to charge if you have one... borrow one if not or buy one will be cheap...
Then if you find its not the lead that is the problem then that leaves the battery maybe is on its way out... or the connection where you plug lead into ipad is a bit dodgy...
But surely you don't need a mental obscenity like me to help out such a genius like you...?

Re: iPad help please
I think it's the battery Eddie, I had the same problem, a new battery cured it.

Re: iPad help please
Tommy I tried all that once, then I got the leads and plugs mixed up cos I'm me.
Two of my bulbs blew today too.
I think I've got a poltergeist fucking about with my electrics.
Nicko, I'm hoping it's not the battery because then I'll have to go to an Apple Store and those guys irritate me.

Re: iPad help please
Eddie... it could be the port on the ipad that you plug the lead into that is a bit worn and not giving a proper connection...
My last phone had a charging port that was a bit worn out... I'd plug the charger into it but it would only start charging if I had the phone positioned so that the charging lead was pulling the plug in connection bit to one side a little bit...

It's something but I don't know what. Just did a little research, just a little as it's soooooo dull, and I think Veya said it: the batteries are hard to replace,
