Great News - Victor Spirescu Has Work Again
20th January 2014
Hope he has all his certificates for this? I'm guessing he doesn't. And it will be cash in hand too.
What do you think?
Three weeks ago Romanian migrant Victor Spirescu arrived in the UK with the promise that he wanted to work and then go home.
But after just one day washing cars with a friend in Biggleswade, he suddenly quit and disappeared.
Now it seems he has landed a new job earning £60-a-day working on a building site somewhere in east London, and is planning on moving his 19-year-old fiancee Catalina Curcean to the UK as well.

Let's say he does 6 days a week - £360 to live on in London.
And out of that he pays taxes and National Insurance?
Wow, these Eastern Europeans are resourceful - I want more people like him - can we swap some of the white British scroungers for more Victor's please?

He does a full days work for only $60 (I cant get the Pounds symbols)
a full days work is a full days work the fact that his boss takes so much of the profit from his labour is not Victors fault. that is Capitalism you know? employers trying to make the maximum profit off their employees labour.

Tell that to the millions of Brits who wouldn't be able to take on work in London for £60 per day though.
And, come to think about it, it does impact upon everybody else - he's just another foreigner clogging up our country whilst not contributing.

@andy
why not? why cant they take it? because he has got it?
It is not his fault the wages on offer are so low, they are offered by an employer that thinks thaey are acceptable to recruit an individual of the skill and diligence they require.
People in Bangladesh will work for that a MONTH. you got be compeditive now on a world market so what do you propose? Communism? Socialism? This is Capitialism :::grouch::
National economic focus is pretty pointless in the 21st century, businesses are global they can move where they can make the most profit. what does the UK offer over Bangladesh that makes a UK worker worth 28+ times their wage?

No, I don't
Please explain.. mainly this part
He is more beneficial than someone on the dole (in economic terms), I don't see the point you are trying to make?

he has a job, he is being productive in the economy even if it is not that profitable for himself.whilst not contributing.
