Pubic hair - do we dont we?
First topic message reminder :
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2540819/American-Apparel-stirs-controversy-giving-mannequins-VERY-unkempt-bikini-lines-New-York-storefront.html
Apparently the store is looking to "start a conversation" so I thought I would start a thread.
How do people think the pubic area should look? Bald? Trimmed? Jungle? Does gender make a difference? What do people prefer to wear? Do people feel pressured to wear it differently than they want?

The purpose of pubic hair is to catch those awful things I've only heard of called crabs, teaches (or should) some people not to be sleazy and hopefully will teach them not to go on the whoring again.

Active forum today, hard to keep up ... he writes in a thread about pubic hair ...

No not at all.
I am not saying there are not personal reasons for going hairless because there are - and I am not a fan of fully rampant natural either. I just think it is something people should be able to talk about because it is wrong to have everything always represented as one state of being when that is not the case.
Why should young women feel they have no choice but to go bald or they are unattractive? Why are young men set to believe that women should be bald or there is something wrong with them?
There is a whole range of pubic style - personally I am not keen on either end - so why only ever have one end represented?
I dont like bald (looks like a child which is creepy) and I dont like jungle (pulling curly hairs from your mouth at a social event is embarrassing) but there is a huge range in the middle of those 2.

Re: Pubic hair - do we dont we?
In the context of the thread it was the idea of "ends" creeping in that made me

It was a long time ago and an ordinary birthday party - it really did not help that it was a clearly different colour from my own head hair and very definitely the same colour as my then boyfriends
EDIT - it was not from activities at the party it was from just before and had been unnoticeable in my mouth until it started tickling - and of course I thought it was an ordinary hair in the mouth thing

ordinary hair in the mouth thing...hmmmm....
I have heard of people allegedly "spitting feathers" but hairs in the mouth...
me I tend to skin or pluck my food prior to eating it ://?roflmao?/:

There is only one way to get rid of the crabs. You take lighter fluid, douse the pubic hair and set it on fire...then with an ice pick, you jab the little buggers as they run out of the thicket.

I suppose if you trim it, it won't have quite the same issues as shaving or waxing because it's the miniscule open sores left that is where infection can get in.

Same with legs or underarms.
Let's face it...people do it for cosmetic reasons. No doubt started with bikinis...who wants a fuzzy pussy.

You either keep the area tidy or keep it clean-shaven.
Not much to discuss really.
Couldn't agree more.

Mind you, a girl in a bar in San Sebastian, Spain, did show me hers but all I got was a look.
Nae luck eh?

If it's clinically warranted, that's ok. But phimosis occurs very infrequently. Do it a lot in America...just a bad habit looking for an excuse.
