White British Priest David Jennings Arrested for Child Porn 2012858844

A former Peterborough priest was arrested on Tuesday (14 January) on suspicion of having indecent images of children.

Father David Jennings (56), who is currently parish priest of St Mary’s Church in Great Yarmouth, was arrested by Norfolk Police last week.

The Norwich-born Catholic priest took over at the church in September having previously served at St Peter and All Souls Church in Peterborough for eight years.

In July 2012 he was awarded Freedom of the City of Peterborough for his services to the city.

Well, after the RC Church trying to uphold it's treatment of children who were abused by priests etc in the UN today, I wonder whether they co-operated with this, or whether the Bishop tried to keep it under wraps.

I don't think this new Pope will countenance that at all. He is ruthlessly hunting down the corrupt in the hierarchy. For the first time in 40 years I am feeling less antipathy towards my religion as a result.
