'Burka-clad white man' arrested after police detonate suspect package

A "white burka-clad" man was arrested on Thursday after police detonated a suspicious device in Watford's town centre.He was stopped by detectives while carrying two rucksacks stuffed with children's books, one of them branded with the popular television character Peppa Pig.A large part of the centre of the London commuter belt town was evacuated as army bomb disposal experts and a bomb disposal robot were called to the scene.

The bags were filled with childrens books and surely he can dress how he wants!?

I DO hope they compensate him for the loss of the books.....

Read the story again and you will see what I mean.

"The device, found in Market Street, was safely destroyed following a controlled explosion by bomb disposal experts based with the army.



Unless he was deemed the suspicious item reported to the Police, its clear to me something was was left on the ground in the heart of the town center that was deemed suspicious.

Just read the daily Mail on this and its not possible it was the rucksacks based on the time call to the Police was 11am and he was arrested at 12:21.  Its not going to take them and hour and a half to get to a suspected package. So like I say its best to read the story properly Tommy.

The suspect was arrested on nearby Clarendon Road at 12.21pm. He was dressed in full-length, Islamic-style black robes with a niqab covering his face

And what was it that they 'safely destroyed'...???



Wasn't it just some more books...!?


Why is this 'Muslim woman' being persecuted...!?

Both the Guardian and the Mail still cannot figure out the time frames here saying its not clear if it was the rucksacks. Well how could it be the rucksacks  if he was arrested at 12:21 and the Police were called at 11am and responded in 20 minutes to start evacuating. So it must be a separate package which I understand was found outside a travel lodge. You would not evacuate at 11:20 calling the bomb squad if you have not arrested him yet and as seen approach him to arrests him. The picture shows him in a car par and not outside the travel lodge, Seems clear cut to me.



Police were called to reports of a suspicious package outside the Travelodge on Market Street just after 11am. Within 20 minutes officers began closing roads and evacuating buildings around the town centre while bomb disposal experts from the Army Logistical Corps made their way to the scene.

Well its quite simple really Tommy when you weigh up the percentage chance of possibilities.

As the Police no doubt did the same being on how a man dressed in a burka stands out of place even if in the extreme remote chance this was a woman trapped in a man's body. Clearly the Police do not think this is a case of mistaken identity do they being as they arrested "him" and did not announce the suspect as female as surely this could have been established very quickly.

My take on this anyway is this was deliberate by the man dressed in the Burka, through no doubt views he holds on the Burka being a security risk and what better way to point that out than for he himself to dress up in one and create a bomb scare by leaving am item that was deemed suspicious enough for the public to ring up concerned. I cannot see many other reasons why he would have done this unless he has grudge against the Travel Lodge and poorly tried to disguise himself.

Maybe she is just a poor ISIS Muslim woman trapped in a white British mans body...

Anyway the man arrested was brought in for a separate offense


Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed the man arrested wearing a burka yesterday will have no further action taken against him.

Officers told the Watford Observer he has been questioned on behalf of West Yorkshire Police, in connection with a hate crime offence relating to alleged inappropriate comments on social media.


Also:



Hertfordshire Constabulary has now released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the bomb scare.

He was last seen leaving Coral bookmakers in Market Street at around 10am yesterday.

So... he obviously hasn't done anything serious enough to face prosecution then!!!





And definately didn't have a bomb!!!

Plus, wearing a Burka and a connection to a suspicion of hate on the web leads to him being lucky he is white I guess. Of course if he had been black, the chances of the Police charging him would dramatically jump based on the known stats of discrimination on arrests, charging and sentencing.
So lets recap, you bemoaned him being stopped and arrested as he rightly was meant to be in an alleged hate crime. I wrongly thought he could be involved, you wrongly thought his bags and books were blown up. So if he is not the suspect and there was before he was arrested as a suspect for a hate crimes and at 11 am before this, a suspicious package was called in Tommy and you still think his rucksacks were blown up
