Michaela Secondary School Punishes Pupils With ‘Lunch Isolation’ If Parents Pay Meal Fees Late

Pupils at a London secondary school face spending their lunch break alone if their parents are late with their school meal payments.
A mum revealed she had received a letter from Michaela Community School, a free school in Wembley Park, stating that her child would be put into “Lunch isolation”. The letter, which was shared on Twitter by The Guardian’s education editor Richard Adams, read: “The deadline for this term’s lunch payments was 1 June 2016. You are now one week overdue.

“You are currently £75 overdue. If this full amount is not received within this week your child will be placed into Lunch Isolation.
“They will receive a sandwich and piece of fruit only. They will spend the entire sixty minutes period in lunch isolation.”

Er why are they punishing the child for the failure of the parent and in this day and age when parents struggle?

4ever is out of order for claiming false claims against Nicko, but you are quite happy to be abusive to her and what you both do is go crying to admin by claiming victim status. Its the worst and poorest form of manipulation and you do this playing off this as a woman. As if you are being victimized for being a woman. To then as see you use sexist derogative terms like bitch. Where if any man said that to you, it would be immediate moderation, yet you get away with that. Which is sexism in itself, as women posters then have more rights than men do by the moderators.

Instead it goes into the pockets of the bosses and some is given as backhanders to their friends in govt who awarded them the contract,  and some of their profits are donated to future election campaign funds - on the understanding that more contracts will be given to them as a reward. An eternal cycle of mutual backscratching.

Privatization doesn't even really cut inefficiency, at least based on the example of Kellogg, Brown & Root in the Iraq War:
