I've heard that the female ovules of even unborn fetuses are viable theoretically. But I've never seen anything like it.

It's not so much the ovulation - I can understand that part of it - it's the fact that a woman's cervix opens to the size of a melon in final stage labour.....HOW can a five year old body cope???

Yes...gd. point. They say: "Naturally, the surgery was Caesarian since Medina’s pelvis was too small for a normal birth." Maybe they don't mention the collateral damage done, if any.

It's horrible!! Horrific even.
I cannot imagine what that would do to a girl.

Assumed to be father but not enough evidence to prosecute

Re: Youngest mother
.
I'VE READ before of early onset puberty and fast growth rates in some children living in some of the more heavily polluted areas of the world (just have to think of all those toxic wastes, heavy metals, plastics - and all of those hormones floating around in the environment, from birth control pills, growth hormones - especially in those regions where excessive and illicit amounts are fed to poultry and pigs, and ending up in water supplies..).
MAYBE having oestrus occuring at such a young age, is the next step along in the chain of events ?
AND EVEN considering that it was Peru in 1939 -- some of those copper, tin and zinc mines in Peru and Chile are reknown for toxic runoffs polluting local water tables..
