Twerking teacher sacked.

A primary school teacher who worked at a prestigious fee paying school in Mexico has been forced to quit her job after angry parents got wind of her antics whilst on holiday.
She was videoed whilst competing in (and winning) a twerking competition.
Unfortunately the video has gone viral.

The video won't show, but I get the picture.  Bet a lot of them parents get up to stuff when their kids aren't around!

That's disgraceful, and it seems like more and more employers have this idea they can control what you do or don't do on your own time. I think that's going to be a theme of my next attempted novel, actually

I saw the video....I thought she was quite good...very flexible.

She is young (24) and fit....she was on holiday and entering into the holiday spirit.
It seems a shame that what she did away from school (and it is only dancing albeit in a raunchy manner) has lost her her job.

Employers will take things said and done on facebook and use it against their employees.
I know of one woman who put a racist (open to interpretation) comment on facebook, someone reported her to her place of work....she was called in to a meeting with her superiors, and was duly sacked.

I have an old school friend on Facebook and her husband was a "Britain First" kinda guy, I tolerated him because of her, but one day he put up a post that went too far and I got into a heated debate with him (she stayed quiet and uninvolved) and basically made him look like an idiot.
I deleted him - he would've deleted me anyway.

I've just learned he now works in a schoo in a highly populated multicultural and Muslim area.

I am wondering if any school or educating officials, ever checked out his page?
Makes me feel rather pissed off he was allowed a job teaching children after all he'd said.

regardless of your personal issues with him Eddie...do you know just how wrong what you just said is???

are you saying that someones PERSONAL views should bear on what job they can do ?

provided he doesnt let his personal beliefs interfere with his professional capacity, why should he not do what he does.....

I've seen Britain First's page and wouldn't have one them around children - ever.

and I've seen many islamic web pages...not all of them by any means extreme...and I dont tink any of THEM should be allowed to teach in our state schools....

I deem him unfit. Even if he wouldn't harm a child, and I pretty much know he wouldn't, his remarks are disgusting and regarded as hate speech.
I wouldn't want him teaching my child and my child isn't Muslim. I take offence to his remarks. That's pretty much why I hounded him.

but ...as said.................. IF the person involved is professional enough to NOT allow their beleifs to influence their ability to do the job they are paid to...then theres no problem.

again you see you are applying the duality of thinking the left is famous for.

Well you see Vic, I don't care if you think I'm judgemental, because I am.  If the people involved are espousing love and respect, whatever the group, I'd be happy for them to work with children.  If they were expressing fundamental views and hatred, whatever the group, I would not be happy for them to work with children.  You talk as if being judgemental about working with children is wrong.   Our children deserve us to pass judgements on people working with them and making sure they are not going to damage their quickly forming minds to hate others, be that fundamental Christians, fundamental Muslims or people who express nothing but hate and intolerance like Britain First.   And I don't have a pet group, I simply don't agree with you that people have a problem because they are Muslim.

so the farmers no longer maintain the natural, effective and time tested ALREADY IN PLACE anti flooding system, one moreover that has worked for over 300 years...

as for the fens ...once again EU policy is to allow them to return to nature, discouraging by underhand methods as above, any form of maintenance on the drainage system...

this IS stated EU policy...

and the lefty's support the EU...unconditionally...
