The snow has arrived.
Plans are scuppered for the day....we have about 6'' and double where it's drifted.
It looks like a pretty Christmas card.

Re: The snow has arrived.
I was just talking to a lady in Scotland on the phone (sky is on the blink) she said it was sunny there too.
Maybe it's just this part of the country. We cant complain though, this is the first proper snow we have had all winter.

Beautiful here, actually got some gardening done, although the last 2 nights have been horrendous for wind and rain.
Mind you, they have been talking about a white Easter!

I read that this morning....the cold spell will last till the end of March.
I feel like packing up and going abroad for another 3 weeks.
Are you North, South. East or West of GB Sassy....but don't say if you don't want to.

Re: The snow has arrived.
Coastal California doesn't get snow because the Japanese Current dips eastward enough to keep it warm. East of the Central Valley, in the Sierra Madre Mountains, there are record falls.
Tomorrow we are expecting our strongest storm of the season. As the system moves east, it will develop into a blizzard.

Re: The snow has arrived.
We've been enjoying temperatures around 23 in the DFW area lately. Everything's greening up and flowering, and yesterday I saw my first lizard of the year.

We've been in the mid-high 80s. Been dunking my feet in the pool. DAMN rattlers are already out and about. Nasty winds have started. We're under a fire watch. But should be dropping 25 degrees by Tuesday with small chance of rain.

Oooh lucky you. It's freezing here.
The snow came quickly and went just as fast, it's just cold and miserable today......back to normal really.

We are Syl. One of the reasons why we stayed instead of going back to the UK.
Believe it or not I do miss the UK weather sometimes.
Hope you warm up x

I know what you mean about missing the cold weather though....we spent Christmas abroad in the sun a couple of years ago, and I really did miss the cold.
I soon changed my mind when we came home though.
