Are the French doing right on this eviction?

Will it help our country?

Where will all the evicted go to?

How concerned are you, REALLY?

On the one hand, you have a small city growing where the longer you leave it, the bigger and more established it grows with the potential for crime and a no go zone for locals.   Then you have people living in slums with the potential for disease and poverty with the risk of development of organised crime.    It would be nice to assume all these people will behave and act like human beings, but so far they're found wanting.   For people who have come from war torn desperation, they certainly seem fussy about where they want to live and how.

Yes, everyone is entitled to a good life, a happy and healthy one, but the sheer numbers of these people is rendering that philosophy impossible to sustain.   There will riots this summer and people will die.

Spot on.

They will possibly claim asylum now.
There's a core of UK trouble makers at the heart of all these protests.   There nearly always is.......some faction like a rotten battery cell, spreading dissension and giving out bullets for others to fire.   They go under the guise of sympathetic do gooders, when in reality they're just yobs.

I think they had to clear it really. They did offer alternative accommodation, but some of the migrants didn't want that because they want to near enough to try to get on a lorry to the UK. That's why they don't want to claim asylum in France as well.

If they were genuine asylum seekers then they would have already sought sanctuary in any one of the safe countries that they have already previously arrived in and travelled through.

Claiming to be fleeing for their lives from a land far away and claiming to just be in search of a place of safety from imminent danger etc is one thing... and of course neighbouring safe countries are not only duty bound to help but are more than willing to help because of reasons of compassion and generosity to their neighbours in a time of need etc...

So after reaching a neighbouring safe country that gives the protection required so as to have sanctuary and security and therefore free from imminent danger etc... it is no longer permissible to try to illegally enter or travel through other countries of your own personal preference under the guise of still being a genuine refugee/asylum seeker by still be in fear of immediate danger!!!

Being in real danger in home country is one thing... but doesnt justify travel through as many safe countries as you like to try to get to the country you choose to prefer to be in!!!

And then turning up after travelling through numerous safe countries with a sob story about only the country of origin is a complete farce and a mockery of the way the rules are set to be followed!!!
