put (food) into the mouth and chew and swallow it.

"he was eating a hot dog"

synonyms:

consume, devour, ingest, partake of, gobble (up/down), gulp (down), bolt (down), wolf (down), cram down, finish (off);

Just sticking it in your mouth, chewing and swallowing.
