BNP kicked off official political party list after they forget to pay £25 registration bill
The Party failed to pay a £25 re-registration fee, so the Electoral Commission kicked them off their list
The British National Party has been removed from the official register of political parties, because they failed to pay a £25 registration fee.
The Electoral Commission say the BNP have failed to pay the charge and submit a form which was due yesterday, and they are now required by law to take them off the register.
As a result, candidates will not be allowed to use the party's name or logos to stand in any election in the UK until their registration is resolved.
A spokesperson for the BNP said: "If it has happened, it's an oversight.

"It's an oversight"
"All the accounts have gone in for the fourth year in a row, which we're really proud of."
He admitted the accounts had been submitted slightly late for 2015/16 due to technical issues with their accountants.

He added: "You don't want to lose the BNP do you?"
The party's accounts, filed in September, showed the party is facing financial oblivion after losing £50,000 in deposits for European election contests.
Records show they have just £45,756 left in assets.
The Electoral Commission confirmed the party can now choose to re-register for £25. The process can take up to three weeks to complete, including ten days during which their registration is put up for public consultation.
But a BNP spokesperson said they hoped to have the error resolved within "a couple of days."

Hope people remember that.
You mean like we allow any extremism a voice?
You seem to think that the way to deal with an issue is to censur this, a bit like blasphemy maybe?
You tackle racism by teaching that it is wrong, as again scientifically racism is a just a concept because biologically races do not exist in humans, which you once thought yourself did exist.
Clearly education is the key, but everyone is and should be a allowed a voice.
That is called Free Speech

Hello! That's the complete opposite of what I said. Lol! Perhaps you've just woken up.
You said we allowed racism a voice.
We allow Islamism a voice, so either your point is we should not or we shoul.
Now you are just trying to get out of a hole you have dug for yourself

Lol! No need to be so aggressive.
I clearly stated that the demise of the BNP was down to the fact that we did give them a voice.
I am not being agressive, talk about playing the victim card, when its not my fault you cannot understand context.
It was the rise of UKIP that led to their demise
So you need to show how and why it was according to you because of your claim for their demise?

I don't need to show anything. But...
And it's quite clearly recognised that Griffin's appearance on tv was the beginning of the end.
So you cannot back it up, which means its opinion, nothing more.
I think to most sound minded people it is obvious that the rise of UKIP led to the demise of the BNP
That is evident by the number of former BNP supporters now backing UKIP

Followed by the TV programme that showed their illegal activity in Northern Ireland just about clinched it.

"In broader terms, the party is struggling anyway because of the rise of Ukip and the internal factionalism.
"It is fair to link the rise of Ukip and the fall of the BNP because there is a degree of overlap. Ukip's success has restricted the space but, after 2010, the BNP was arguably finished anyway."
