Trump isn't really Scottish, he's mostly descended from Germans whose ancestors freaked out during WWI Much like many of our Smiths.

I think you are missing the point (or getting caught up in the argument, and evading it).  We in America have thousands of nationalities, and many different ethnic communities, with many different foods, dress, rituals, religions--the list goes on.  

We are used to generalities: I love Italian food, the Swiss make great watches, I love Cuban dancing, English china, Scottish wool...generalities about anything, really.  It's just another generality to say I think Icelandic girls are pretty, or Scandinavian women are beautiful, or Cajun men are strong, etc.  In this case, I am simply saying people from that region are attractive.

Of course there are exceptions: bad Swiss watches, overcooked Italian pasta, flawed china, horrible flamenco guitarists...but as a generality it works to say 'I like...[fill in the word]'.  In that spirit I think West Asian/Middle Easterners are attractive people.

Nah...I'm among friends. I do think that Muslims are quite attractive as a people. But the correlation is in the overlap with West Asian/Middle East bloodlines.

Who knows? I wasn't there when their parents were procreating. I can only speak for the now: Muslims are attractive people.

As I say, it's in the overlap with the ethnic groups who live in the East Asia/Middle Eastern geographic area. Lol...call me daft, but I do think that Muslims are quite attractive as a people. You can kick and scream over race vs. religion, but that ain't gonna change anything. It's a matter of taste, not rational argument.

True.  It's merely a matter of taste. Many Africans are beautiful too, as are Indonesians, Cambodians and Indians. Maybe it's the blend in that region that makes them all so attractive.

Odd...but they often look almost Asian. They speak a language not part of the Indo-European family, but related to Estonian and Hungarian languages. The Hungarian name for the language is magyar (ˈmɒɟɒr) or magyar nyelv. The word "Magyar" is also used as an English word to refer to Hungarian people as an ethnic group,

And, not to split hairs, but that woman pictured above, to me, is actually quite ugly! She has weird looking eyes and the cheekbones look all too sharp and...she looks a bit like a cartoon character!
The girl pictured in the OP (irrelevant of race or religion) is pretty.

Attractiveness is subjective. We all know that.

She doesn't have those features in particular, other than blonde hair. I don't think she's particularly typical either - she's referred to as the "Ice Princess" and is widely regarded as beautiful in the ice skating world, but that doesn't mean that all Finns are the same.

So now you're talking about Nordic types rather than Finnish types. You do need to be careful not to assume that someone's hair is naturally blonde of course. An example of a Nordic beauty is Britt Ekland, but is her hair naturally blonde? She had darker hair as a child ... The members of Abba were Nordic, but they weren't generally very fair, with the exception of Agnetha, who I suspect gives nature a helping hand.

It would be interesting to know how many Nordic people are naturally blonde. A lot of women in the UK are blonde of course, but I would say that naturally blonde hair beyond the age of about 13 is relatively rare here, although fair skin and light eyes are common.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as Irn mentions.  And I happen to be fond of Scandinavian people.  The Scots are another quite appealing type.  Like the Muslim peoples, they stand out as being very attractive people.

Here in the UK we have the "English Rose" complexion, which is not confined to English women of course and it's not applicable to all of them, but it's rather lovely. Princess Diana had such a complexion before she started tanning it - naturally or otherwise.

Of course people who are native to northern countries will be fairer than those from countries nearer the equator, but it's not necessarily accompanied by blonde hair.

Interestingly, Dutch men are on average the tallest.

I added a paragraph to my post ^^ including Scottish people.  They are also unusually attractive types.  I suspect that is because they are strongly influenced directly by Nordic bloodlines.

The English are strongly influenced by the Norman bloodline, and what is the root word for Normans?  Norse men.  So I would expect that their bloodlines would also be related to the Nordic lines as well.
