They are not exactly a gang of hooded yobs.

But if you are MP Priti Patel they are pretty damn thuggish and terrifying.

This group of rather sedate looking protesters say they were shocked and distressed after the Essex MP fired off an email describing them as a thuggish gang.

The protesters, which included wheelchair users and the elderly, were outside her Witham constituency office to urge her to protect the NHS.
