Hmmmm, what happened to the 'HUMAN' that started this really nice lengthy topic; I know I'm new but I could've sworn that there was a avatar w/name on the start up page.
Just a suggestion {since we ALL seem to need a weekly air cleansing} perhaps the 'Fight Club' needs the daily sign in from all members --- just clear the air and get on with our daily B & M
Good evening - good night and there aren't any wounded &/or bodies left laying around the community; unless there's a secret body dump hidden here a bout's

Thanks Nicko X
She's on antibiotics now, since Monday evening
It's been seven days now - this has hit her hard, she normally shakes things off in 48 hours
Her cough is just so incessant, poor little bubba X

Yes it is Nems - she's clingy and then grumpy and then sneezy and then sleepy.....
Can you see where I'm going with this?
I need to get out of the house. I laughed far too hard at that

Just read Sassy is dog sitting...I am cat sitting, and it's taking a while for him to get settled.
Having pets is as tying as having kids.

It certainly is. I looked after my friends little Chihuahua and we were worn out after a couple of days!Syl wrote:It's horrible when your kids are poorly....wishing her well soon Eddie.

Re: The good night and good morning thread
I'm knackered.
It's a bit like looking after someone elses kids...it always seems more demanding than looking after your own because you are scared they will hurt themselves.
The cat obviously cant go outside....we are always in and out leaving doors and windows open...I'm terrified he will make a dash for it if we forget to shut them quick...and .we may never see him again.

I feel for you. My dog is a direct descendant of Houdini, any chance she gets she is off up The cul de sac. Last time FTL came to stay she did it. Fortunately the neighbours are well drilled and they head her off!Syl wrote:I'm knackered.

This is my sons cat. He had one before this one and it was killed by a car...he found it's little body when he went looking for him.
The cat he has now looks identical, I would never forgive myself if he got out and was run over.

Oh my goodness that's a shame. My daughter always wanted a cat but I knew I couldn't rest if it was out by itself!ASyl wrote:Miffs2 wrote:

Re: The good night and good morning thread
There are ways to let them out (hopefully) safely..but it takes time and we don't have him for that long so he will have to stay in.
He keeps looking through the window....at freedom.
I swear I will be a nervous wreck before we give him back.
OH and me have already had a row because he forgot and opened the patio door.

Re: The good night and good morning thread
Lol Miffs...that's exactly what I did do. The cat has settled very well, and apart from it occasionally clawing at my 3 piece suite it has been no bother.
Have a nice Easter Sunday all...we are off out...in the rain. Sun keeps trying to break through though.

Re: The good night and good morning thread
~~winds~~ been blowing out of the north all day long; so hopefully I'll be able to leave a couple of windows open and the pasture fires will die down & out when the sun sets around here by 7:30pm. My head & lungs have burned for several days with all of these fires going 24/7. But Spring has SPRUNG and it's a bloom'n mass of pollen in the air as well. STUFFED UP NOSE...
I'll watch a hour or two of PBS and then it's 'Lights Out' here as well.
