I don't think sassy "hates" Christians - she'll correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure - but perhaps she sees a hypercritical qualify to SOME Christians.
She campaigns for Muslims but I'm sure she'd  see there's a hypercritical qualify to them too.

I generally ask them where they stand on the issue of hunting with dogs. It usually throws them a bit.

I am beginning to think if i should vote or not and this has nothing to do with sassy, in essence i am giving my permission to who ever i vote for to do what is best in their opinion, they could think abortion is a good idea, they might think legalising cannabis is a good idea.

Well are you voting for the person or for their views? If you have strong feelings about a certain issue, it's a good idea to ask them where they stand on that issue.

just a couple of problems with that, politicians lie, sometimes they don't know as the lie has been passed on to them, the other problem is they might tell you the party line but not risk personal ideals they hold..

i could inadvertently give some one the power to kill babies when they vote to extend the time a woman can be pregnant and still have an abortion..

You can't do much about them lying, but if you ask them face-to-face, you would probably get a good idea of their real views.

If a candidate is a member of a political party, you'd get a pretty good idea of the party line they're going to follow. If they're not though, you would need to ask them questions and see what they say - and how they say it.

Seriously though, I just ask them where they stand on certain issues, and I don't give them a clue as to what I think about the issues.
