The news that police were investigating whether Nigel Farage lost his parliamentary election because of fraud stoked the conspiracy theorists behind the #ThanetRigged hashtag.

I don't think I've ever heard of an investigation that is stopped after a few hours. But of course, never mind Nige, cos to got to resign and then come back in a few days as well LOL

"Thanet District Council said in a statement: "A single complaint has been lodged with Kent Police by a member of the public, from outside of the county, with concerns around the Thanet parliamentary election - following speculation on social media."

but dont let that stop you foaming at the mouth in you haste to "farage bash"

how many complaints does it take to start an investigation or does that depend on how much others discriminate against you.

Apparently, in the case of Niggle Fringe supporters, it only takes one paranoid, sore-loser whiner to tie up taxpayer-supported police resources for four hours!

Actually, I'm assuming that the complaint came from some Labour supporter who saw the allegations from Fringe supporters on social media, realized that if there was no fraud, it would be further embarrassing to UKIP supporters when the investigation showed nothing, and decided it would be fun to kick Niggle's corpse one last time.
