British diving instructor Gary Vanhoeck shot and killed by robbers in front of his wife in Bahamas
A British diving instructor who lived in the Bahamas with his wife has been shot and killed by two men who accosted the couple on their boat and demanded money.

Seems odd this to me, why if you are going to kill someone would you leave a witness alive to identify you???????????
Could be nothing, but it does seem odd.

Good point...something to consider.
On the other hand, it might be something as simple as not feeling comfortable killing a woman. Or, maybe the guy mouthed-off, and it was a heat-of-passion kind of thing. Maybe he fought back. Could be they were just scared and got their hat when they saw what they had done.

Agreed Quill. Like I say though, if you have no problem killing one person, why allow one to live that can actually identify you. Seems if anything rather rash and lucky for the wife.
