British people have been advantaged from the start, the point you seem to miss at every turn, because again it was because of this nation plundering and exploiting nations for centuries that made it rich to the point it allowed the nation to advance and become better. It allowed for education for all people, new innovations to help society to the point we could create an NHS. All the Brits have done is played off this advantaged start, which you seem to miss at every turn and think you are entitled to this advantage, not even understanding how you obtained that. Again you ignore the growing elderly population problem, which without immigration or a baby boon is going to put a massive strain onto the elderly who will need more carers etc, which you seem to care little about. Let alone the skilled shortages, which at no point have you even addressed and have utterly ignored at every turn.

Hi Tommy. I agree with your comments. I think Nemesis doesn't really understand wht we're saying. BTW, if Nemesis is Didge I'm very surprised, because he doesn't usually swear to the extent he has done above, and his English construction is better than that.

As for bringing up the subject of the past history of helping ourselves to poorer countries resources, many nations have done the same, not just the British. That arguement doesn't fit in with this particular topic, because our main concern is with migrants using our services for which we have paid, over many years. As for British workers/unemployed taking advantage of benefits, there is a simple solution, if they don't take a job that's offered them, stop their benefits.

I doubt if UKIP will win the election but let's hope they have enough MPs in parliament to make a difference to various legislations &/etc.

JSA claimants have long been required to look for work and take any work offered as a fundamental condition of being eligible for benefit.


However under the last labour govt, people were allowed to live in hugely expensive areas and have their eye watering rents paid by housing benefit, amounts that they would never think of paying themselves if working and never being able to even afford themselves if working, but were then also allowed to decline work as it wouldn't pay enough to be able to pay these same enormous rent costs...


Resulting in people on benefits being able to claim up to £100,000 a year and living lifestyles that the overwhelming majority of people actually paying for it could only dream of!!!


All in the name of equality mind...!!!
