Three-year-old 'pushed mother to death' in China

A Chinese mother who died after falling down a lift shaft while searching for her keys appeared to have been pushed by her three-year-old son, a newspaper claimed.
The 45-year-old woman, who was named only as Mrs Xie, was looking for a misplaced set of house keys that she suspected had fallen down the shaft when she plummeted to her death last Saturday in the eastern city of Ningbo.
Yang Shao, a 52-year-old who manages the block of flats where the victim lived, said she had been helping Mrs Xie and her young son search when the accident happened at just after 9am.
